okay so these are my geo results

But now my steering is out to the left by about an inch, so just driving straight my steering wheel is dipped to the left!! Is this due to the geo??

It could be something simple like they've got the geometry wrong. If its done with the laser aligment its unlikely but not impossible. Or it could be something more expensive like the wheel has gone in a big pothole or maybe previous owner slammed a curb and damaged a tracking rod or similar? Not that the last bit is a definite but could be worth checking out?

Maybe someone on here knows better.

Hope this helps, Lionel.

The rear doesn't look too good. The total toe is +5.5 degrees whereas the limit (written above) +3.5 degrees. As a result the thrust angle (in the middle) is a bit high. This might be causing your steering issues as the rear wheels are pointing in a different direction to the fronts.

This might help to explain some of the diagram and about steering centre (near the bottom of the page:

looks like the problem is the left rear wheel, the camber is out of tolerance and there is way to much toe in on the left rear wheel

I remember the guy did say they couldn't adjust the left rear wheel anymore as it was at it's max???

A steering wheel should be dead straight after alignment is done unless the car is bent. :)

Nicked from elsewhere as I couldnt find the words: "Steering center is controlled by the front and rear toe settings, when setting steering center, the rear toe should be set first bringing the Thrust Angle as close to the vehicle centerline as possible. the steering wheel is then locked in a straight-ahead position in order to set the front toe."

Basically, your man hasnt set the rear toe properly, but has then used it as a guide for the front. Although the wheels are all relatively speaking pointing in the same direction, the steering wheel being off centre indicates that relative to anything other than themselves, they arent. Or something like that. :headhurt:
