thing
Hello all, I am in dire need of new rear tyres before my MOT. I can get bridgestone re050a or dunlop sportmaxx at a reasonable fitted price and wanted opinions on which ones to go for??? Cheers

Voodoo Vix
I have sport maxx and so far, so good, just wish they made them for the fronts too
Ekona
RE050A are by far the better tyre. Dunlops actually aren't that bad, but it depends on what you've got on the front of course.
thing
There are some cheap tyres I have never heard of on the front ... with loads of tread on them so not likely to replace them soon
lrh
RE050A are by far the better tyre Consumer Reports in the US say performance is very similar and both the TT and GT versions of the SportMaxx are placed higher in their overall ranking.
