coldel
Was giving the car a once over today, cleaning the engine bay etc started the car up, gave it a good rev, looked under the back where the back box joins the mid pipe and there seemed to be a lot of black stuff around the joint, this stuff actually dripped onto the floor. Any idea what it is?
Darren-B
Just condensation in the exhaust, quite Normal for it to seep out of the joints on a cold start. I hope you were not spraying the engine bay with water......
coldel
Nope, just a can of Gunk then a rub down and massage with a damp cloth where appropriate! Cheers mate.
Darren-B
I wouldn`t worry about it then, just keep an eye on your exhaust gaskets, as long as there not blowing once the exhaust is warm you`ll be fine
