djrm
Hi everyone After my MOT I was advised that my front brake discs have pitted and have always considered upgrading the brakes on my Z anyway. What discs / pads package would you guys and girls reccomend? I am looking to spend £300 or less for the lot but do want a good set... Is that possible or do I need to spend more? Thanks! CrumbMC
The ferrodo pads i got from Al (DS2500 i think) are very good. they take a lot of punishment before i get any fade, and i think this is more down to my old fluid anyway
M13KYF
+1 with DBA and Ferodo pads. You pay a third more but well worth it in the long run or having to replace 12 months down the line with if you purchased a inferior aftermarket disc
HassanZ
I agree, DBA's are the dogs danglies (although I don't use it anywhere near it's full potential ). I purchased the 2-piece DBA 5000 rotors, I believe they cost a bomb! They look quite nice too with them being 2-piece and have bolts around the edge of the 'hat'. I run Ferodo DS2500's with them.
