John tarantula
vaguely looking for a Zed and found this too cheap to be true one: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3185511.htm thought I'd have a laugh, phone number didn't work so sent him a mail. Quick response saying the car is a UK car but is in Germany but he can deliver to me for £2500 thought I'd play along and asked if he can take full cash on delivery and send me the reg before.... I'm sure he'll need a *small* deposit to bring it over though let's see what excuses he gives for needing a deposit first.
John tarantula
just to update, he's replied and wants to do the deal through Ebay motors... plenty of info via google searching on Ebay Motor scams. Have asked him where in Germany the car is as I have a few friends who can go and view it for me actually I must have better things to do than this! Just interesting how they try it on and how easily genuine people do get scammed

brown7758
ask him for the reg no. again, tell him its for a HPI check.. not just for personal amusement, but the chances are that they have someones reg no. and are going to use it in the scam.. Lexx
He's sent me the reg but nt sure what to do with it? And yes I remember that episode! Send a PM to "EH 370". He'll be able to do a HPI check for free for us. Or you can drop me a PM with it, and I'll text Toby in the morning and get him to do it straight away and I'll post up the results. JAMIE MOY
Just place the reg number in a website like tyre shopper and it will come up with the car make and model........ Here you will be able to see if the reg matches the make and model at least.....

John tarantula
Good. Feel really sorry for the people who got conned with these things! Someone like my dad who knows not too much about the internet would probably quite trustingly get ripped off by these scumbags!
