JezPerry Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 Help, The CD player is skipping on my head unit so I want to change to an aftermarket system I'm told i need a cable to reduce the ampage from the stereo to the BOSE speakers but this can only be bought in the USA or Japan Is this correct and does anyone know what its called ? DannyBoy Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 Make sure you get the inline booster also otherwise volume will be very very low That seems to depend on the unit, I fitted a Pioneer AVH P4200DVD double din unit a few weeks ago and the volume seems to match up pretty much exactly to the old Bose unit with no line booster, possibly even a little louder.
