RisingPower
slightly off topic - but was thinking of buying C5 from gtechniq.... is it any good? http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/gtechniq/c5-alloy-wheel-armour.aspx Tis very good, works only on painted/powdercoated finishes though from my experience
jollyranchers
you need wonder wheels on the inside first then hit with 00 wire wool and autosol
Jeff G
Since the set of SF's you are getting off Goat Of Mendez have already been refurbed with a diamond cut finish and properly lacquered it's not going to be a sensitive as the original Volk anodised finish. Although caution should still apply. Just wash as normal with car shampoo and protect with Rim Wax or Poorboys Wheel Sealant, using Poorboys myself and couldn't be happier (and this is on bare polished metal on my Volks) Yep, gonna get some in the next few days. Well, urr, you've both got e's in your names Ahhh GT-C's

I've got some of that stuff. Anyone else confirm that this will work before I set about with the elbow grease?
C.J
Autosol gets my vote. Around £6, and can be used on anything (I've used it on alloys, nuts, bolts, badges...) When I picked mine up a few weeks ago, the exhausts had clearly never been cleaned. They looked bronze. After applying nearly an entire tube of the stuff, they've come up like new, and actually look silver/chrome again. I didn't get any 'after' close ups, but they really are like new. DaddyCee
still got a few tough bits that don't seem to want to shift, the 0000 grade wire wool does want them to budge either. Will this work and is it safe on the 350Z tail pipe? http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/B ... Cut_1.html

Why not go 000 or 00 then polish up with a 000 then 0000 then 0000 with megs polish or the likes?
