ace
I have had my car a year now and this week for some reason I have water on the inside in the n/s Bi-zenon head light I have used the head light washers a few times this week would it be possible that water from this to get inside as I thought the lights were sealed can I get inside the lens to wipe it then seal it somehow? EH 370z
I am not a massive expert on this subject by any means however, as I understand it the unit is pretty much sealed. First thing is, I suppose, is identifying where the water is getting in. A common cause is useing pressure washers this can get in. Next has the seal where the bulbs goes in, been compromised in anyway? In the short term I would sugest that you remove the whole head light, remove the bulbs drain out as much standing water as you can, and get a hair dryer on the job! Whislt its out you can fully inspect the unit. Good luck
Beau
How much water, is there a puddle in the light, if so then it would be a good idea to get the water out asap before damaging the unit. Some pics maybe?
Lexx
The Zed's units are notorious for not being the best sealed. They are severely prone to condensation building up. HHow much water are we talking here? Puddles?
Tricky-Ricky
The trouble with getting water into the headlight, is that because of the position of the HID ballast, it quite often results in water killing the unit, believe me it happened to my 350GT, same ballast position.
