slimjim
If you have the motor... doing the job is pretty easy... don't fancy a DIY job?

idec
Thanks for the help and enthusiasm fellas. DIY seems a poss, particularly with the help of the pics. Could be a DIY Sunday, but still apprehensive-we've all broken clips etc removing door cards and not been able to replace them, so frustrating and annoying when it won't go back quite as it should. idec
Just to end my saga of the faulty window motor. I had taken it to main dealer (G LAMB)asking twice if the motor could be re-set.They were adamant it couldn't be and they took it apart diagnosing new motor required at a total cost of £517.39!! I bought one from Alex (£189) and proceeded to dismantle door. After removal of the door card I thought I'd try the re-set procedure, before going any further. What do you know-the existing motor worked just fine. Good old main dealer 0 out of 10 again. To his credit Alex will take back the unused motor, Bless him.
