rothers2901
Been doing a bit of moding in the engine bay getting it ready for the weekend. Polished nuts, bolts and a bit of gloss painting. The last item to be finished was the engine brace. Painted and lacquered, then resisted the urge to fit straight away and left for a couple of days to go off. Been today to check on the oil levels and found 2 large scratches on the top edge of the brace . I was so careful when refitting the brace not to damage it i was left stumped as to how it could have happend. Then found the offending little bliter a small rubber vibration protector on the underside of the bonnet. No time to re-do for the weekend now so will have to do. wackosr
Use black marker pen as a tempory touch up. Better than a silver line! That does suck after all your hard work. Looking good.
