slimjim
Trying to slice into my reversing light positive for my reversing camera WITHOUT taking the bumper off to look at the lights directly. Anyone know which of the 6 crazy colour cables is the one I need to take as a positive?
Chris`I
IIRC its green dashed one. Careful not to take it from the main loom (near the wheel arches) as there are two the same Make sure you test it first - its about 2-3yrs since I did mine Its dead easy to remove the passenger brake light (3x 10mm bolts), so best to do that and have a look

leonk
Just to add, I did mine with the bumper off, soldered a wire on and some heat shrink, and then fed the wire back through the gromet into the car.
slimjim
I am trying NOT to have to take off the bumper... Or is it super easy to do? So far I have managed to get everything in and done... and linked up without taking the bumper off. Would be a sod if I have to take it off just for the cable I will try to strip back one of the cables and do a test with an altermeter before I start linking things up. Will try the green dashed one first.
