Adam rs
Got a bit sucked in with the lovely new double din head units available. After a day of looking around i got sat down and started thinking about why i should change. My standard bose system has no faults and sounds good. What are the benefits of a change and what else do i need for dab aside from the head unit?
HEADPHONES
Some head units are "DAB READY" but only offer the user interface and require a separate DAB unit. A lot of the older JVC models are like this. Newer ones are all in one units. All will most certainly need a new DAB aerial. These can be either be the stick on the inside of the inside of the windscreen ones or external ones (may need drilling ) I went for a single din one with the stick on aerial and find I actually listen to radio a lot more due to the wider selection of stations
Lexx
If you're happy with the BOSE set-up, spend the money on a re-map.
