Wasso Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 Brave man. The boot without struts weighs a lot! You'll be working out each time you open and close. It is perfectly safe. Removal is as simple as unbolting from the lid and car. Be warned to have a male companion to hold the boot or a butch woman. It isn't light!! slimjim Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 Try lifting it without the struts! I'm not strong by a long shot.... But there was no way I could lift the boot with one hand with no struts!
