Sorry to hijack, but I would like to tint my rear lights as well...what are the legals around it? I have a black Zed, with black badges, and half black wheels - I think some blackish rear lights would go off a treat...

Think I may just order a few bits of film for now  Having now vinyl wrapped a few bits of the interior and successfully reset the gear gate last night my confidence in my very basic DIY skills is slowly growing

Whereabouts are you jumping350? There is a blade 350z that is always parked near Putney Bridge...literally 2 mins walk down the road.

hope this helps you make a decision....had a set of jdm led clear unit covered in a smoked film.took the guy about 45mins pre unit and he s a professional vinyl grafics fitter.

anyway i was very happy with the end result.

ran with them for about 18 months witrh no probs from the o'5 :p:D .replaced them with Keyser;s red led units recently for a less aggresive look. ;)

i personally didn't like the fly eye kit it was too matt and just didn't look right on my black 350, was easy to fit however. So i ended up getting a spare set of lights and spraying them with tint and polishing to a nice shine looks much better and still lets thru plenty of light.

I would seriously think re think about tinting stand OEM lights. Dangerous as hell if they are done. Ex member did them and it was very difficult to see brake lights in day light. He received quite a few complaints from fellow zed drivers on wales drive
