neo Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 i have a kenwood kac 959 5/4/3 channel amp that i had in my last car that i'm going to fit in me Z, looked at the instructions but not sure how to hook it up in the 3 channel mode ( 2 infinity kappa front speakers and 1 10" sub) here's a link to a pdf file of the instructions - http://manuals.kenwood.novenaweb.info/l ... 8EN%29.pdf my head unit is a pioneer keh-p8400mp that as 3 pre-outs, gonna run 2 rca cables (front and sub) then should the front speakers be connect in "bridged" mode to get the best from them ? on the pdf file how should the options 8,9,14,15 be set up ? any help appreciated and sorry for rambling Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
neo Posted July 24, 2011 Author Share Posted July 24, 2011 A few skinned fingers later and it's in the wirings a bit messy but no one's going to see it anyway used 2 of these bend in a 'L' shape - http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/156722 and some scrap MDF for the cross pieces, am surprised it worked out as well as it did have put the sub surround back on (no pictures) just in case the amp works loose and hurtles towards my back just kinda guessed at the wiring set up, seems to work tho but defo needs some tweaking didn't bridge the fronts in the end, so still need some guidance as i don't wanna damage anything, HELP Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
