stephenbui
Hi. I'm a proud new owner of a fairlady zed. It has a oem nissan sat nav system, but it is in japaese. I've searched but no definitive answer. The question is, how can I get the system to run in english? Can I get a uk sat nav disc and up load a uk rom into the nav system? Any help will be much appreciated. Stephen

Just get a tomtom or a stereo with nav built in.
Lexx
As said above. The jap system is utterly useless in the UK. No way around that. My suggestion would be to remove the entire system and skip it. You can then get one of the systems built by "Cookbot" or Nurrish" who are members here. Failing that, you can slot a TomTom or the like into the cubby. You would need to buy a OEM cubby to replace the Jap System if you removed it.
stephenbui
Thanks guys for the fast reply. It is a shame that the system has to be binned. I will save for a alpine double DIN unit that does sat nav. Thanks.
