Karlp
Yo guys, I currently have about 1.5 cm left of a snapped aerial on the zed, i've tried some long nose pliers but to no avail Have you guys got any ideas how to get it out?
Zugara
drill a hole in it and get an "easy out". that will do it. http://www.toolprice.com/category/screwextractors/
AFTERSHOX
If you are in the United States - you could get one of these... http://www.quikcenter.com/ I tried to get one for an awkward bolt removal task (...but I'm in the UK) - and there are no distributors for Quikcenter in this country. It's a shame, because this is very cool / useful device. For our friends over the 'pond' - you can order from their online shop.
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
I can sell you a carbon fibre telescopic one when you sort it if that helps

M13KYF
its worth putting a small amount of copper grease on the aerial thread. This will prevent it from rusting up and snapping come removal time
Vik54
its worth putting a small amount of copper grease on the aerial thread. This will prevent it from rusting up and snapping come removal time and a towel round the base of the aerial when you're working on removing the old thread incase you slip and chip yer paint

Dom187
I cant see very well from the pictures so forgive me if I am suggesting something silly but.... Can you cut a slit in the top of the aerial, then use a flat screw driver to unscrew it? Obviously if you cut it you wanna make sure you dont get any metal filings on the paintwork. It just seems likely won't budge, I'll give that a go tho
Dom187
Otherwise you can try (be very careful with your body work tho) Heating it slighty WD40 or some sort of penerating oil? In your first picture is it the black and gold bit that needs to come off? I am Zedless at the moment so I cant check myself how its put tother
