Dicky
Anyone chopped off the two st st tin cans on the ends of the exhaust pipes? If not any idea of how it would affect the sound, louder/quieter or is it likely to affect performance. I personally hate the look of them and would loose them if possible. Dicky
Take them off then and see....... Looks like I might have to given the response so far. Was wondering if anyone had experienced the sound without the cans before I did cos I’d hate it if it sounded as if it had a hole in it or if the performance was adversely affected. If it sounded ok and didn’t affect performance I’d have new ends welded on which I think would look better. Had heard somewhere they were only put on to improve the exhaust note
Husky
exhaust tips are part of the tuning of the exhaust note. think of it like the widening section of a horn. you can change them but its experimental as to what sound you will get
