Chris`I
Ive had the same thoughts about getting a Cayman, im just too big for a Boxter... Have you drive a Cayman and/or 370z? To me the drive is very similar between the two and I couldnt justify the price premium of having to get a Cayman S for the same performance, then adding god knows how many extras to spec it up the same as the 370z. I'd love a Turbo'd Cayman (c500HP) but stock for stock, I think the 370z has the Cayman nailed, especially when you add a new exhaust, intakes and remap and still way cheaper than a Porker (If money were no objective, I'm sure I'd have a Porker though)

Ricey
Doogy................your dead! To be honest the insurance is probably going to be a killer - I expect it to be more but treble and looking like nearly double on the Zed next year might just snuff it out. rtbiscuit
i like the boxsters, nice cars, prefer the cayman looks; and this is odd, but 911 looks don't do alot for me, i like them, but it doesn't make me fizz.

captain
What about a Z4M? Faster, better lookinng and sounding..0-60 in 4.8vs 5.5 in the Porker. 333bhp v. 260bhp What more do you want?
Chap
Doogy................your dead! I love you too I have always found that adding a named driver drops my insurance Works with most of the gomeerkatmoney companies, knocked about a third off a very expensive quote by adding various older family members who would probably be too scared to drive the thing anyway. DoogyRev
0-60 in 4.8vs 5.5 in the Porker. 333bhp v. 260bhp What more do you want? I find it very amusing the people who are always quoting 0-60 times..... like anyone actually cares, If I was that obsessed I would have bought a Super 7 which would cost a whole lot less than the Zed to run. For me, as long as its comfortable and has a little bit of poke and has an attractive price tag, it fits the bill And yes I do agree with the new Z4M's looking better than the Porker
Stew
I like torque and in gear acceleration figures. You can keep your BHP and 0-60 times!
captain
So sorry for trying to help the OP and for posting some industry facts which every car review always quotes.................... I haven't driven either but would buy a Z4M in an instant if I had off-street parking. Will go back to watching the golf.

Most companies manufacturer Adar and Market it through the 0-60 figure. I know what happens afterwards is fairly important also but on British roads a 0-70 mph figure would be much more appropriate.
