I've heard of these - they have built these massive towns ready for the population influx due to the booming economy but they remain empty!

Maybe we should ship out all the chavs and scroats from our towns over there to give them a little bit of personality on the nice clean walls! Of course the Chinese Police are probably not as tolerant as ours and their human rights are a little lagging behind ours (oh what a shame!)

Im taking an interest in this as it could be interesting to see what will happen to the power stations they are building (and forecasting coal usage for) to power these cities. For some time Chinas appetite for coal has contributed significantly to the underpinned global prices. If their usage and future forecast usage falls off a cliff, prices could take a tumble which would have a knock on effect around the globe.
