Teemsta
Hi, Just joined the forum and wanted to immediataley pick your brains! Basically when travelling along in any gear, if I remove my foot completely from the accelerator and let the car decelerate, when it hits 2500 revs I can hear a whirring noise. This only happens around this rev range and immediately disappears should I put my foot back on the gas or press in the clutch. Never owning one of these before I am curious if this is normal? I doubt it to be honest, but always prefer to be a little better informed before I approach a garage. Thanks
Tricky-Ricky
Could be as simple as a heat shield picking up on a resonance frequency/vibration at that RPM.
