George Dredd
Not sure why it doesn't work I have one that works fine, have you tried using an old tape to see if it works? Then you will know if its the tape or the player. The one you got from argos seems a bit of a rip off to me, they're old skool and should be cheaper, mine was a cheap one from a random junk shop in St Ives. I am now using a 'Lava' FM transmitter which I got for 9.99p from TK Maxx and it works perfectly, sounds great and NEVER loses frequency. If you dont want to undertake yourself just send a PM to Husky I remember when the 6 CD Changer went in my mazda (yes it was a Bose!) I went to a boot fair and got the 1st Stone Roses album, What's the story by Oasis and dire straits brothers in arms, all on cassette and for the princely sum of 50p.... for all 3 The iPod hack is apparently very good and not too difficult if you are ok with electrics and soldering
Lexx
I have one of these for use in my pug. like you, it searches and rejects it. So......as soon as it starts searching, switch to the radio. the tape should remain in. wait 10 seconds, and then switch back to the tape player. If its anything like my Pug, that should work Then when you get chance, do the Bose hack as said above.
