Master Z
Hi,just wondered if the APS TT kit for a left hand drive car will fit on a right hand drive car of the same year(2005) I have got a good deal on a kit and can't seem to find any info on this.I know that the engine is the same but worried about steering etc.Any help would be much appreciated
Ian
No. The steering rack interferes with the manifolds

Master Z
Thanks guy's but they don't actually state, that's what I'm calling it! Left hand! Some of the yanks have fitted right hand so who knows ? I think I will sell the zed and buy something with potential, thanks for your help
Master Z
I mean tunning potential, not slating the zed.
andlid
My kit seem to be fitting both to be honest, the manual talks about the difference at some parts and the electric stuff is fitting both. Not sure about exhaust but can ask the guy fitting it, guessing that the steering MIGt mess it up as ian said, might also be different between the new and old kit. Best bet would be to either mail Aps or compare the install manuals or listen to Ian :-)
Master Z
Just for future reference the kit is universal, sometimes the os cast pipe that exits the turbo needs modifying to give enough space around the steering colum, kit purchased Thanks David at DSAutomotive for your help
djtimo
Hi mate,I have the aps tt kit. Ditch the cast turbo outlets and get a set of 3.5" down pipes. I have them. They help spool and do away withthe cast outlet parts. You can then cuts an weld the steel downpipes easy to fit round the steering shaft. andlid
Going to take it to them to have it fitted, they are the official uk APS dealer I believe. Only... He's got an Aps tuned z himself so should be sweet getting it setup there, you going for built engine or plan on using standard internals? I did not use the piggyback solution that comes with the kit, out of interest how much are they charging for fitting and tune?
Martin W
I don't like to say listen to the voice of experience, but you are 10 miles from Abbey. These are the people who look after ProjectZEd - the 6 second 350z Drag Car I'll never go anywhere else for my Turbo 's servicing and if I had to pick a different tuner to re-fit the APS TT kit that I have on it would be Abbey, even if they were twice as much as anyone else. Cuz I know they'll get it right I"ve driven the DSA Z persannally. I still recommend Abbey

Master Z
I know it makes sense to go to abbey as there 15mins from my house but I was impressed with the speed at which DSA dealt with my enquiry and nothing was a problem to do.Like most people when spending there hard earned money I don't want to feel like I'm a pain,I want to be looked after. It's a personality thing,I have my own electrical company, the company's that use us the most are like minded, some company's that don't anymore are not, that's how the world works. TO DEEP???
