Spidermonk
Hey All , Just registered my interest at a few local dealerships to find me a nice 350z Coupe, so seemed a good time to join up here and say hello. Has taken me a while to decide between a Z or a Boxter S, though my affinity with Jap cars has won out. Previously been a proud owner of a Mitsi FTO and more recently a Hyundai Coupe (yes I knw that's Korean ) but now looking forwards to moving to my first RWD. I'll post some piccies when I finally find her and until then I'll be hovering round these forums learning as much I can about the Z's. Spidermonk. LordGrover
I've had an FTO too - very different. Good luck with your search.

Sam Mcgoo
Welcome to the forum. May I suggest having a look in the classifieds on here? There are ususlly some tasty Zeds for sale for much less than a dealership would charge. And if they are active forum members, chances are they will have looked after the Zed better than most as it tends to be a hobby rather than just a car to get from A to B. Spidermonk
Thanks for the warm welcome all, it's great to see the forums are so active Reading several posts on here has already helped me narrow down my seach criteria of what to go for in my Z, hopefully will be looking at a mid 2006 -2007 facelift, with the GT pack for both the leather seats and cruise control. The late 2007 313ps are a consideration but I doubt my budget would stretch to that unless I buy privately. I've been looking at the classifieds on here and there are some extremely nice cars. I would be tempted in them if I was mechanically competent (or at least had previous ownership experience of a 350z) though unfortunately I'm neither, so would feel more confident paying for a Z with some form of dealship warrenty. Spidermonk
Finally the post I've been so eager to write for a few months Today I've just put down a deposit on a 56 plate GT Coupe in Black Adored the test drive, she pulled well in every gear and was just as happy to tootle along at 30mph in 6th as it was pulling hard in 2nd and 3rd. It's taken an awful lot of viewings to find this one, so many others I have seen have sadly been abused Thankfully this one has been cared for by it's one previous owner, included in the service history is a list of receipts for all the professional valets it's had (more than I bothered counting) and every fluid reservoir under the engine has a little sticker with the date of last change Anyway I'm rambling (over excited), I'll post some pic's when I get her on Monday

Sounds like your one has been very well cared for. Get yourself and your lovely Z along to a meet and show it off.
Railgun
Nice one pal. Hope you have as much fun with it as the rest of us do, and I guarantee you will get more admiring stares than you would in a boxter!!
Spidermonk
Thanks for the comments guys, Monday seems so far away at the moment. The only downside was that it was on show right next to an 06 Aston V8 Vantage and while I went on a test drive, the saleman handed the keys of the Aston to my las; against such an awesome car, the Nissan couldn't compete for attention Credit to the salesman though, knowing her driving style I'm going to find it difficult handing over the keys to the 350, yet alone a car 5 times the price! Railgun
Bang for buck fella, the Zed is right up there, and its 10 times more reliable than the Aston. Probably as much fun too!
