Dblock
you tried paisley freight? is it just a door? You can get pallets delivered for £75. I dont live near just trying to help.
SnailHerder
Another good option is a delivery bidding website. You state the approximate weight and dimensions of the item and people bid on the job. I've used Shiply before http://www.shiply.com/ and had a good experience. I sold a gentleman's compactum/wardrobe on ebay and got it delivered from Portsmouth to Bristol for £40. Husky
hmm there is a list of weights here, not sure if the doors are buried in the thread somewhere, they aren't on the front page. http://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-in ... tures.html

Dblock
i got my wheels delivered from city link and ebuyer always use them (computer bits) so I have found them usually good. I suppose no one is perfect though
Husky
I hate it when people use paisley freight, they play football with the parcels, never had one arrive undamaged, that and the collection station is an hours drive for me.

Husky
i wasn't suggesting anyone was taking sides As unusal as the idea may be I use the post office for everything now. They always get everything right first time and are really friendly in my local one. Also it's so much easier for people if they miss their deliveries as parcelforce tend to drop it into the local branch or the sorting office is never far away

IMO post office sucks they are slow break alot of things/lose things. Up my area they have big rubbing problems with the depot as we usually get our post on a Sunday.
