ScottyZ
Anyone noticed that when the engine is idling that there is a 'rough' noise that goes away when the clutch is depressed. I seem to remember from years ago on another car that it was the thrust bearing that made that noise. The car has only done 1500 miles so will take it in to the stealer if others on here do not have that noise. Cheers, Scotty
simon da silva
i have the same kinda noise.. sounds like 2 discs rubbing against each others.. I have been told by ZMANALEX that it's quite normal and i shouldn't think about it.. so i'm leaving it alone
philb1965
I haven't noticed it myself, definitely no bearing noise. I'll have a check again later today.
Chris`I
Used to get it in the 350z, unfortunately the 370z is a 7AT so no clutch Dont seem to remember hearing it on other 370z's I've heard but I could just be used to it from the 350z
cmck13
I get the same noise, this is normal, I find its just the pitch of the noise that does change when the clutch is in or out if you get what I mean? When you say a rough noise that varies from person to person have a listen at other z's at local area meets that should give you the answer. ZMANALEX
As above, normal noise, however if car is under manufacturer's warranty, then best to get them to have a look at it and get your complaint documented on the Nissan system Alex.
