notfub
Does anyone know how much space/volume I'd have to play with (to build a new sub box) if the BOSE 10" Sub was removed. Ideally I'd like to leave the grill in place so that it still looks factory BUT with a much better sound quality box/sub combo in there. I've seen some posts of people's builds but want to max the available space, hence wanting to know the max volume available. Thanks
RisingPower
You'll be lucky to get something more than this in there: viewtopic.php?p=411209#p411209 It's still not ideal putting a sub there, as stuff does rattle.

A-ha, good spot, I've been trawling through the ICE section and missed that.
RisingPower
A-ha, good spot, I've been trawling through the ICE section and missed that. I've got a box in matching size in the same area with a jl 10w3v3 in it, it's properly jammed in and the flappy bose plastic grill cover needs felt pads

RisingPower
Thanks for the tips. Have you got any pictures of the install? Not really, it's jammed in behind the metal cover and the inside of the cubby hole, you wouldn't see much anyways, sub faces up and you'd see the box from the front but that's it. With the plastic bose cover on you can't see anything.
