geoler
Hi All, Earlier this morning my Zed had its first P3 service. The Nissan garage told me that I need new pads all round @ £364.65. What do y'all think? Just go with it or look for an indie (any recommendations near Fareham)? Cheers, Geo
Vik54
Are they insane?!! Buy the pads yourself and go to an independent to get them fitted - it is an hours job maximum and even if you went for upgraded pads all round you'd be saving a fortune! geoler
Hi Vik54, I've seen zmanalex recommend pads & discs in a few threads. I just gotta find an indie I trust. Cheers, Geo
sparky370z
Get the pads. I bought OEM ones and it came to about 70 quid all round. Then do it yourself. It is very easy. 2 hours max Just a few tools and some copper grease ect..... There is a guide on here somewhere.
geoler
Hmmm... I did think about giving it a go myself. But scares the living **** out of me that I might render my Zed undriveable or not safe (can you tell I don't get my hands oily). I'll look around for a guide & see how brave I feel. lilwashu
Protyre in Fareham will fit tyres that you supply so they might do it for brakes as well - give em a call and see what they say.
Southernspeed
Take a drive up to Abbey Motorsport sometime. Nice drive and people you can trust!
