Keyser
Ian are you mating the LS3 to the OEM CD0008/9 gearbox or to a T56, ZF6 speed or similar that is plug and play with the LS3? Can't be asked to re back to see if you got the engine with GB. I could ask you Bennett, but I'm a sharing kind of guy! Engine, Gearbox, Prop and Diff are all being replaced. The LS3 comes with the t56 but the Sikky kit (USA) marrys everyhting up to be fitted to a Zed. Not cheap but does the trick. Thanks BTW í ½í¸„í ½í¸„ Nice one fellaí ½í± It would be if the box was a T56 but that's not what arrived we have a 6060 the later box, so the Sikky kit won't fit!!! Looks like some fabrication is in order.

Adrian@TORQEN
Well, I just had a FaceTime session with the guys down Sarf, they've reported a slight progress and although everything works snail speed, I can confirm IT IS HAPPENING (apparently ) Everything is under control, make sure you continue to report back and keep me updated while I'm away! Ebized
What a fantastic day - thanks for allowing me in the hallowed ZED SHED and I was even allowed (told) to get stuck in But found a a few moments to catch some pics.....so: Ian had to show his new install before we set about stripping Suzi The team (well the early birds) before work cracked on around 10.30am Just over an hour later and Suzi had her front end removed Some were busy Hmmmmm....what goes on under there Time for the engine/box out And Ian making his escape: Only to have one last drive Clutch /fywheel belived to have have lasted the 112,000 miles Suzi has travelled....So Ian is now Miss Daisy Mind you, she was showing her age around the crankshaft oil seal So there rests Suzie's heart....RIP - box off and all done by 3pm The the new heart and box were found in Bob's garage and it took seven of us to lift that on the back of the truck No sooner was it in the Shed, Chris set about it - much to Ian's alarm He had chopped the gearlever off Plastic bits on the former Corvette engine did not last long To reveal a rather nice V8 having covered a reputed 17,000kms And then it was like Christmas again as goody boxes were unwrapped Including a rather nice baffled sump Then it getting near 5pm and time for a clean up and kindly fed and watered before I had to leave to get home to post these pics up Top day and I learnt a lot more about DE engines in the process - hope I might be allowed back for when the LS3 is ready for installation and firing up I shall sleep well tonight!
