Cookbot
I've been to the Nissan garage today and managed to get the cubby surrounds at £108 and £14 for the finisher plate. There's now a finalized price in my thread on the first post: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=49801 There's also a chance your cubby may also already work. I've just seen the cubby that Eck1 has on his 03 JDM and that will be fine for him as the box is removable from the back. Cookie
craigmdennis
As soon as I can get the cash together... I shall send it via carrier pigeon (or whatever method you prefer) so I can get my greasy mitts on one of these bad boys! Unfortunately not until I'm back from holiday though How long will these be available?

Cookbot
Just to let those who have ordered know, the turn around time is probably going to be 1 month, as delivery is taking so long. I ordered the parts over 3 weeks ago and still nothing has arrived As for availability, probably up to next Jan, but then I move to Florida. If there's still enough interest, I'll buy some cubbys there and bring them back with me which should make it a little cheaper.
Cookbot
Gutted, my favorite Z toy has been sold today - the original Cookenav. Fitted it to Chesterfields car today in prep of selling the car.
Chesterfield
I think Ive had a crisis... Spent a "bit of time" today with Cookie modifying his original install to fit on my centre console. He probably wont mind me saying but he is a bit of a perfectionist (read: suffers from some form of OCD Im sure), one millimetre out and he's not happy and its undoing 20 minutes work to move something and put it back together again so its mm perfect. Sadly I had to get some final prep work done on a room in the house before plasterers arrive tomorrow, so I didnt get to see al the detailed work taking place first hand but I was there for quite a bit of the work, and the missus hasnt noticed we worked on the kitchen worktop and table, so neat isnt the word for how the work was carried out! Got the system up and running, connecte it to the home wifi network and transferred some files to the car and installed apps to it while sat on the drive! Oh as a self confessed gadget nerd, this is simply technology pornography as far as Im concerned. Ive got music, navigation with google maps sattelite view, video, radio, tv, the option to load tv series and whatever else from my home network, ODB2 so if I really want I can look at my coolant temperature or check for error codes, or if I really want, play Nintendo games with a wii remote while sat in the car if its p***ing down at a show. If we measure gadgets on entertainment/geek factor for the money, then Im struggling to find ANYTHING in my house that actually tops what Ive bought today Sorry I cant do a complete review of this, as I had to work up until going out for a meal tonight and only just got back - but I will do a review as soon as Ive had chance to sit and play with this for a few hours - and I will certainly be doing that! Thanks again cookie - simply brilliant. If anyone wants a look at Lakez - give me a shout
Cookbot
No probs, it was good to find out that you can also move files directly from your home network over wifi. No more removing the unit to get the SD card out again or fannying about with USB cables! Winner
