Ebized
First thing is to try is to give the sensors a good clean
chrisgunton
Nope it's all clean it's not even a normal kind of beep!
Ebized
With the type I had on my previous ZED you could pull each sensor out in turn and disconnect from the main wiring to to the control box to establish which sensor was not working - so trying that on the basis one may be faulty should establish if it those or the problem lies in the control box. When I reached that point it was case of opting for a complete new system, but I then traded in the car so I left that issue for the garage to sort out
chrisgunton
Just pull them straight out? Where is the control box located?
Ebized
It will depend on which system is installed in your car but on mine the sensors were just a push fit in the holes and could be eased out with about 6 inches of cable which had a two-pin push-fit joint. Each of the 4 cables were colour coded. If you hook out the spare wheel and have a rumage around the rear of bumper you should easily see the wires from each sensor going to the control box - see pic of mine which had been fixed to the rear of the bumper by double side tape. I had unstuck it to take that pic so I could locate a repalcement unit (unsuccessfully). If your system is as I have described mine the first thing to do is see if by removing a sensor in turn that gets the normal warning beeps back. If not, it will be a case of getting an auto electrian to check things

chrisgunton
and now it's playing up again! Must be a dodgy wire or sensor. Will unplug over the weekend. Thanks for the pic showing me what the box might look like though
