Lexx Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 My gf's best friend is getting married out in Vegas in September, so we thought we'd use this as a chance to give ourselves a well earned fortnight away. We don't want to spend a full 2 weeks in Vegas, so we plan on spending 3 nights in NYC (no advice needed there, as we have both been many times), we then fly to Seattle for 3 nights before heading to Vegas for a week. I've been to Seattle myself when I was working deep sea, but only got to see the nearest bar to the port. Been on Trip Advisor, and reviews vary wildly, and my head hurts for reading them all. So, anyone here been and stayed? Recommend anywhere? Or hotels to avoid? Any help appreciated. Quote
martinmac Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Try the Hilton if you arent driving. If you are then avoid it. Great views from the top although the layout is a bid different, you like the Ahoada though. Arent we speaking. Quote
Lexx Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 Arent we speaking. I didn't you know you'd been! And its a whole flight of stairs I'd need to climb to talk to you about it! Quote
martinmac Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Good practice for the Hilton then, its like a maze. Quote
Stew Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 My Mums best friend lives in Seattle. When my Mum and Dad went out for her wedding they took my sister and neice so rented a beast of a lake house. They didn't stay in the centre at all. I'm sure I can ask my Mums friend for advice though. Quote
Lexx Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 I'm sure I can ask my Mums friend for advice though. That'd be great Stew. We want somewhere central that wont completely break the bank, but will pay up to £140 a night. Quote
