stuarty
Have a look at the new astra 2.0 CDTI 160 bhp, stunning inside by far the best interior in its price range. You might want to wait on the 3 door sports hatch coming out later this year though. My friend just bought an audi A5 sline on a contract lease and i couldnt belive how cheap it was! Lexx
Well, thats the Giulietta off the list. I just didn't get on with that car at all. Terrible driving position for someone as tall as me, and no matter how much I adjusted the seat I just could not get comfortable. The 1.4 multiair engine is competent, and pretty smooth. But utterly lifeless. I know Im asking alot for something to have some zing to it for the price range Im looking at. And as for the part-ex they offered on the VXR8.....I actually laughed at him. They did have a Brera S in for £20k with 15k miles on. Love these cars....until I got inside. Such a cramped cabin. You feel like the dials are in your face. And whats the point of back seats in those?! Only amputee's could sit behind me in one. Bugger. Oh well. Search continues.

ioneabee
do you run your own business - have you considered contract lease for business's 2 or 3 year contracts and claim 50% of the vat back
Walbertonio
Mondeo? The 2.0 petrol and diesels fall under 20k. 1 series coup? Not 100% sure if they doesn't break the budget a little though.

Leeroy
How about the RCZ, I think they look good (if you ignore the Pug corporate nose) and should come in at £20K with a bit of discount? They get good reviews too...
