Nothing about Cars

Went to see Roger waters perform "The Wall" on Tuesday night and have to say it was one of the best nights i have ever had just the best.

The Wall as such was brought right upto date with references to Iraq and modern issues etc but it was just superb.

If you like Waters or Floyd and have not sen it i would say it is never to late it was just stunning tickets are still around for Birmingham in a few weeks !

Here is a clip

We will be in Brum.... Had tickets since the day they came out! :yahoo:

Gutted we missed the O2 spectacle with Dave and Nick but we knew it was going to happen there and no-where else.

Such a shame about Rick... not just because it was the final nail in the coffin... but because he was such a great bloke.

I can't see Gilmour and Waters making up, Gilmour is/was on tour with the Dark Side of The Moon guys recently. I remember when I was in the states a few years back and both Gilmour and Waters were touring as Pink Floyd in separate bands at the same time...

Rush were 3+ hours of awsome canadian rock. Big Kudos for the funny vids taking the P out of themselves. When they played Closer to the Heart I nearly wept....

Just have to wait for judas Priest in July now. There is that little drive I have planned in July too..... :teeth:

Im a kind of a self confessed "expert" on Floyd...

They will never tour again, not together. I thought it might have been possible when Rik was alive. But no-way it will ever happen now.

Rush!!! did they play YYZ? Dear GOD that tune is amazing.... :band:

Revolving kit for Peart?

Spent some time with Daltry back stage hence ,it's signed. Nice bloke.

And my best night ever (and Steph knows) had to spend half an hour escorting Diana Ross arround.

She was with Gene Simmons.

WOW :scare::scare::scare: What job do you have ?

i loved hearing |Rush. Was a big fan in my teens but waned afterward. Allways kept those early albums though. It was such a thrill to hear closer to the heart :-)

And as a bass player to see the Deity that is Geddy Lee in full flight was fabbo to say the least.

"i would love to see Bootsy Collins " was the conversation at Floyd. As me and my mate have seen most of the (Living) best Bass players going. But Bootsy doesnt play the UK...

Two days later I see an advert on bookface announcing bootsy's one off at the O2 !!!!

BUT

it when I am driving about the forn parts so gonna miss it  to top it off in the same week you could see: Roger Daltry performing Tommy. Primus on their first UK date since.......ummmm ever ? Now that would have been a good week.

As for Judas Priest in late July.. Slash announced his UK tour a few weeks back. Guess what date I could have made ?? Yep, same bloody one as Judas Priest. Swap anyone ?????? :byebye:

WOW :scare: :scare: :scare: What job do you have ?

I may only be a skinny little runt.

But back then (30 years :scare: ) I was a part time 'Crowd Control Engineer' .Spent most of the concerts in the front of stage pit.

So also got paid to watch. Kiss had the best stage show at the time.

Yeah, I've got 2 of those progs as well :D . Saw both The Who and Yes at Deeside in 1981 (ish). I'm also into Rush, never did get to see them, they were scheduled to play at Deeside but I think the Ice rink flooded or burned down

Some of my Albums from decades ago...
