M13KYF
a ecu packing up is very rare, what seems to be the problem/diagnosis

M13KYF
checked the throttle body, it may need cleaning, they can get a bit coked up
Neilp
I would recommend getting it to one of out in-house specialists like r35 Lee @ falcon performance or upto zmanalex if you can't get to the bottom of it. Nissan garages usually don't have the most clever mechanics.
M13KYF
or abbey motorsports, defo worth a second opinion from a pro. where are you based
ZMANALEX
I have preowned 313 ECUs in stock However this really must go on Consult 3 for a professional diagnoses. Try Abbey in Oxted if you are local to them I will have all the parts in stock whatever required including air flow meters Alex.
Steady Zeddy
What pisses me off with Nissan is that if something like a relay goes in the ECU (a 5 quid part) you have to replace the entire ECU (1K +) as they don't seem to have part numbers for the components of the ECU. Does sound like you have a leak in the throttle body - what error codes has it been throwing up?
Mark@Abbey m/s
Airflow meter(s) I would say. Where you based? Mark
david 164
its actually with someone at the moment,he seems pretty clued up on these cars, when nissan had it,it showed lambda senor and exhaust flow meter were broke, they were changed, still no good, then nissan changed the plugs, still no good, done all there tests, even involved nissan technical, all they said was, computer showed no problems, even suggested its me,which i know its not, have had performanve cars, and raced cars since i was 16,so know when something isnt right, they told me to fill it with fuel, and put additive in it,which they supplied, and try it for a couple of weeks, total cop out i think, anyway a good friend of mine, with a rolling road, track n road in purfleet, some of you may have heard of them, put me onto the man whos doing it now,so im hoping he can sort it,but its really really pissing me off,hes had it 2 weeks! as i said someone has been told with same problem by nissan that its the ECU,but id have thought that would show on computer, will keep you all informed
Mark@Abbey m/s
Should be a simple fix , I think your need the Nissan Consult or Uprev Cipher to log a few out/inputs. Mark
