alex64789
Hi Guys, Can someone please tell me the standard brake fluid a 2004 350z will use? DOT3/DOT4? I have been looking on the brake forum section for about 20 minutes now and can’t seem to find a definitive answer. Only ever been serviced at a dealer so guessing it will be the standard fluid?? Thanks for your help. Alex

ZMANALEX
As Neil has said, best going for Motul RBF 600/660 In stock and good to go same/next day Alex
stubzie83
Service manual says to use Dot 3, but you can use dot 4 or dot 5.1 as well as it exceeds the spec of dot3. I think dot 4 is probably more readily available than dot 3 these days as well.

Go and get that engine back in the beast Hi Guys, Can someone please tell me the standard brake fluid a 2004 350z will use? DOT3/DOT4? Thanks for your help. Alex I run rbf 660 and its fantastic. Have not had any signs of boiling at all. Standard fluids will be more prone to boiling and giving up under spirited driving in summers days etc. Best not to scrimp on brakes etc. Alex will have it to you in no time mate and you wont be disappointed. I haven't really heard of anyone using standard fluid. Most people upgrade which is why you probably have struggled to get an answer.
