Adrian@TORQEN
Some funny ones that I use on my forum:
Ekona
They're not smilies, they're full on pictures! They're the perfect example of how to make a forum look ugly and unusable though
Adrian@TORQEN
What resolution are you using on your screen? They look fine on 1920 x 1200 on my mac, specially if you're not using all of them in go
Toon Chris
Dear God, the horror
Ekona
They're more than twice the size of the standard smilies, and nearly three times the height of the text. That's ridiculous IMHO.
M13KYF
what Dan was referring to is there size compared to the original. +1 with Dan, they're huge and ugly.
Adrian@TORQEN
Can be adjusted in CSS to the size you want, it's the animation that counts
Ekona
...which is also visually distracting.

Stew
...which is also visually distracting. +1 Pfffffffffft, what would you know about graphics Mike!
Adrian@TORQEN
OOOOOOk, oooook, it's a matter of taste, I go it! Can I still walk free now or should I look back all the time?
Ekona
It's not really a matter of taste though, is it? Anything that much larger than the text that is also moving is going to be more distracting to the eye on a page. It's like me putting in a huge picture of Kelly Brook in the middle of this post, you'd be hard pressed to read the text first
Adrian@TORQEN
I've already said that it's all about the funny animation, the size CAN BE ADJUSTED in CSS to the size you want, for instance matching the existing smilies in here...
Ekona
What size do you have them on your forum then?
Adrian@TORQEN
The actual size, that's what members want, as I said, different taste. I've tried setting them smaller but got tens of PM to make them as they were before
