Bose stereo

Hi,new Z owner,new to site. Had my 2005 Gt just over 2 weeks now,cant stop smiling,got a small problem........Bose stereo,when listening to radio all speakers work,but when on cd right hand speakers volume drops and distortion occurs.

Anyone got any ideas?

Common problem I'm afraid. It's a short in the electrical tape from CD player to main unit internally. There's a guide to fixing it here somewhere if you're handy with electrics or PM R35LEE. He used to fix them for £50 a hit but no idea if he still does. Either that or replace the head unit.
