weewizard
If i want tot put a set of 19"'s pn a 350 to fill the arch's more what are the over all correct sizes to buy: Alloys?>>> Tyres?>>> Cheers Richard
ir_fuel
alloys: fronts from 8.5-9.5 back: 9-10.5 tyre sizes: front 245 / 255 back = 275/285/295 I would suggest sticking to the 19" Nismo wheel specs dough. Looks nice enough and IMHO you wont fill the arches more in the height with 19", (you will in width dough ) coz the overall diameter wont change, and 19" are more likely to "need" lowering for a good look, compared to the 18" IMHO IMHO oh did i mention IMHO? lomoto
20mm offset seems to suit the Zed and fills the arches out to the edge but saying that it's all a matter of personal tastes,
ir_fuel
or you could use spacersin a corner>
lomoto
or you could use spacersin a corner> spacers are a good way of finding what suits , I personally wouldnt fit them, lots of people do use them with no ill effects
ir_fuel
I personally have them fitted. No issues so far and they look nice to me
stevie_350z
For the more inept people on here (i.e. me) can someone explain to a layman what the offset is (assume something to do with distance) and what a spacer is (assume something to increase the offset). Diagrams are always welcome, as they helped me enormously during primary school

ir_fuel
These questions have already been answered on the forum. I guess clicking search and typing "spacers offset" and selecting "match all words" should give you the answer

Kev946
I posted loads on this a while back when I was choosing my wheels. I did loads of research on this. Try a search of the forum. In summary to fill teh arch without the sticking out look then the widest I personally would consider is:- 9.5 +25 fronts 10.5 +29 rears If you go 8.5 / 9.5 then simply adjust the offsets above by roughly 6. Volks recommend 8.5 / 9.5 +22 alround which looks nice.
