w1z Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 Just bought a Clarion MAX678RVD off ebay... http://www.clarion.com/gb/en/products/2 ... 80854.html Just wanted to know what extras do I need if any, do i need additional cabling for steering wheel controls, a new fascia etc, also would it be possible to fit it in the the top compartment where my factory fitted satnav is? What would you put in the place of the original stereo thats already fitted? If you want something in the cubby, there are better options. w1z Posted May 16, 2011 Author Share Posted May 16, 2011 Lexx Reason I would put it in the the cubby is because the original sat nan is a bit crap and the height of the cubby for sat nav viewing is better then where the standard stereo sits to be honest I would prob leave the original in because I like listening to my tapes which i've not done in for years or turn it into storage. It's pre face lift 04 plate, ok think i'll take it out and but the Clarion in it's place. Can you help with this also i've posted it in the sticky post also but not had a response yet and want to order the parts ASAP ... Is this all i need to fit the Clarion.. ICT 50-256 - Nissan 350Z Pre 06 Double Din - Facia ICT 29-645 - Nissan Navara/Xtrial/350z USC Loom - Universal Steering Wheel Control Loom ICT 29-003 - Clarion head-unit lead - this is for the steering wheel controls ICT 23-007 - TURBO 1 Variable line driver - not sure if this is needed?
