craigmdennis
I have had my Zed for just over a week now and there is the most annoying clunking noise whenever I go over uneven ground or bumps. It's a 2005 GT4 with the Nismo Kit. Things I have checked: Suspension Front bumper Undertray Break discs / pads Exhaust (The guy I bought it from told me it was this as he'd put a buddy... it is not) No dead body in the boot Sounds like it's coming from the front, low down, but I can't find it. It sounds too heavy to be a loose body panel. It happens whether I am breaking, accelerating or coasting. It is not rhythmic, so not directly engine or wheel related. Any suggestions? I'm at a loss. Will370z
Drop links potentially, very common issue. Just had mine sorted as it used to knock on uneven ground. All sorted now and silent.

I have heard this mentioned before. It's just a case of crossing things off the list I guess. Or take the car apart piece by piece until I find it or the car stops working (as by then it would be just a steering wheel and a seat! lol)
ZMANALEX
Could be a number of things mate causing your knock, however I would start with checking out the compression arm ball joint and bush. Also have a look at the hub carrier lower ball joint. If you click on my signature picture, you will find all the parts that you may require. Alex.
