Ruddles
Took a day out to travel just a short jaunt down the M50-M5 with some friends to the Prescott Hill Climb, last Saturday 30.04.11. Hell of good day out and it was great to see some of the incredible old and new machines that race at this event, this thread is pic heavy, but like a fool I took my standard camera lens and not my tele-photo I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit in future It's also the Bugatti Owners Club HQ. Stew
Moved for you. I love hill climbing. Great to watch. Looks like you get much nicer metal taking part than we get up here. Although I think the Evo pictured in from Aberdeen.
Ruddles
Thanks kindly Great day for it to, my neck is luminescent red Yeah, the Evo was from Aberdeen, his starter motor had failed and when he finally got it onto track he couldn't open the taps...as soon as the turbo started to spool he had to brake The small 'batman-esque' purple car was the fastest with two merged bike engines! Will370z
Prescott is great fun, it's just a short distance from my parents and dad is a club member so I've been lucky to go up quite a few times in some special cars. The annual garden party is brilliant, where members can take their cars up for the day. Taken my old golf and last year the Saab turbo. Can't wait for this year as the zed gets to take on Prescott. Great pics btw, looks like a good day

Is the Evo Turbocharged and Supercharged still? Was fast as hell for the last 3 years but he keeps adding to it. The bad thing is that he has all but killed the class he's in racing in the Scottish Championship as nothing else can get near his car. So many just don't bother entering! It's a shame! Turbocharged to (I believe) the region of 820bhp, the sound is incredible and I'm sure it's lightning, but the straights at Prescott are too short for such a car which was a shame as we waited with baited breath for him to do just ...1 attempt
bronzee
Hill climbing always brings out some interesting cars! Love the little chock of wood in front of someone's tyre. Dodgy handbrake?!

UNABASHED
what is the black 'T' sticking out the front of all the cars?
Stew
what is the black 'T' sticking out the front of all the cars? It's for the timing gear. It breaks a beam.
