glrnet
I'm having trouble with the cover of my K & N air filter box lid in that, whatever I do to the position of the box the "flappy" lid rubs on the underside of the bonnet in more than one place. Having seen the JWT Pop Charger it would appear that the enclosed box for the filter element on the K & N is not totally required? Or does the enclosed box, i.e. with the lid on, provide improved air flow and therefore improved performance? I am seriously considering leaving the lid off as without making adjustments to the box itself I can't see the lid not fouling the bonnet. Any thoughts or advice gratefully received. Thanks guys
Willy P
Hello mate. I assume you will lose a few ponies through heat soak as I believe that's what the box is for, a heat shield. Won't be much of a problem though I doubt.

rtbiscuit
mine used to do the same, so i mounted 2 foam pads on the bonnet where it rubbed and it fixed the issue.
