SteveRS
and i absolutely loved it! The red looks soooooooo good in the flesh/metal Its an 06 facelift model with full nismo kit with 40,000 miles, 2 previous owners and as far as i could tell it's in great working order, engine seems fine, clutch, electics all good etc, full regular service history and due to have a service next week. BUT........ There are some bad points mainly cosmetic 1. Deep 10cm long scratch to rear wheel arch (definite re-spray) 2. Scratch and deep chip on the bonnet (definite re-spray) 3. Spider cracks appearing on the front bumper and the paint has runs in it on one corner (should really be re-sprayed) 4. Rear bumper is not alligned properly and isn't flush with the rear arches (looks like it's popped out at the top) 5. Interior drivers door handle is scratch to hell. 6. 19" nismo alloys need a refurb. 7. Rear tyres need replacing Its such a shame that its in this condition as i would have bought it there and then had it been in good nick. The guy is asking for £12,750, but i dont think anyone would buy it in the condition its in. He said he would deduct the cost of re-spray from the price as he would prefer to sell it as it is. I have no idea how much it would cost to do the re-spray and refurb the alloy wheels and neither does he, so i asked him to get a quote so at least we he can see how much to drop the price. Does anyone know how much a re-spray like listed above could potentially cost? Maybe someone on here has had similar work done. I could make the guy an offer if i had an idea on cost. Cheers Steve
scottyd
Chilli red nismo I'd call it around 300 to refurb the alloys, not sure about the re-spray but im sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon
SteveRS
Yeah it really was £300 for alloys sounds reasonable. I could make the guy a silly offer and see what he thinks......................... Im thinking £2k to do the lot, but thats just me plucking a figure out of the sky
martinmac
There are some nice ones around
Lexx
Alloys cost around £50 a corner on average for a refurb. Respray - £200-£300 a panel if its sanded back and sprayed. if its just scrath repairs, it depends on the repairer.
SteveRS
Is that one for sale?? It will definitely need to be a good job. How much would you say for a bonnet, front bumper and lip, would the front wings need spraying to match the bonnet and bumper?
martinmac
A friend was selling it late last year when he was becoming a father. It didnt sell and he managed to afford to keep it. If you are interested i could ask. Its only in Ascot.

scottyd
Did you take and pics? Call it 600ish for the alloys sorting with two new tyres and 50 squid for the door handle. I'd put a silly offer in like you say otherwise keep hunting for a perfect example
SteveRS
No pics unfortunately, only the ones he sent me of the scratches.
