Peter10
I need to clean up the car under the bonnet. I have used an all purpose cleaner to do the bulk of it but there is a thick grime on most of the metal work, hard to describe but it I'd almost like the consistency of dried toothpaste . This shows a clean section under some trim next to a dirty section: Undiluted APC won't even help lift it and I've tried bug/tar remover to no avail. Any ideas? Also, what can I use to get the black trim under the bonnet back to as new as possible? Cheers
Ricey
Autoglym machine cleaner? That seems to be pretty hardcore on engine grime.
clarkie34
It's transport wax, they cover the whole car in the stuff before they ship to dealers,it always gets left around under the bonnet. I used Tardis to get rid of it,you can buy it from polished bliss but be careful with it.
