Blacky
Whilst sitting on my drive, left car ticking over while I played around at fitting my new head unit. Got a wiff of antifreeze so got out, only to find coolant running down the drive and pouring out the header tank Fortunately this had only just happened, so switched off straight away. Found out that my cooling fans had packed up and after ringing round and contacting zmanalex realised they are an arm and a leg to buy. So stripped them down today, found that the brushes had seized, so cleaned everything up and hey presto all working again. Loads of meat left on the brushes and as I believe this is a common problem thought I would share this. Before thinking of buying new motors, get them stripped and cleaned.
