Ricey
I think they look ace.........others think they make you look like a 'knobber' One thing that is for sure though........they are a royal bar-steward to keep clean - especially after you've just washed them and there is water in the nut holes
George Dredd
Well I think they look good.... just not on a gunmetal

Woody
On a GM id go for a different colour, like red or blue. Be unique and will look

Aliensurfer
Personally, I'm not keen on black wheels on anything other than a black car. But that's the beauty of choice, you do what makes you happy and sod everyone else.
Luke0549
I personally think that any colour apart from silver makes the car look cheap; and that's coming from someone who's has a set of bright orange wheels, and had a set of matte black wheels. I think the car looks like it has a lot more class with silver wheels.
Tinyflier
Black wheels on any car is the work of the Devil - I detest them! David
KyleR
2 year old thread revive, is that a record for this week? Good to see people use search, though PS - black Rays on GM looks great!
JetSet
2 year old thread revive, is that a record for this week? Nah, the number plate thread was 4 or 5 years old . Anyway, I'm not keen on black wheels unless the car is black and even then Silver wheels look better. Pete
gringo
black wheels are a no no for me!

4RE Leather
Go take a look in forum jokes headed Peer Presure! Surely if your old enough to drive a Zed you don't have to ask permission to change wheel colour!

DoubleU
My mate Steve says I'm too old for black wheels, although I might get them on my Lambo when I win the lottery. Sorry to say I think the original Rays look better on the gunmetal grey.
4RE Leather
So because your mate says your to old your not going to do it? WTF has age got to do with it? Why can't you just get it done without asking permision? I have changed my wheel colour 3 times in the last 18 months. Do you think I give a hoot about what any one else says. We need a new forum headed Sheep! Trouble is we need to nominate a Shepherd to keep them safe so the big bad Wolf won't get them! Darren has a 12 Guage I believe! Though Papa Smurf looks the part:)
spursmaddave
You been mixing the tablets & booze again Pete I too think black wheels or any other colour than silver look cack but it's personal choice and I love to see people doing things different
4RE Leather
You been mixing the tablets & booze again Pete I too think black wheels or any other colour than silver look cack but it's personal choice and I love to see people doing things different Its not the colour that bothers me, just the fact that some peeps feel they have to have permission b4 they can do anything. It's a car forum not the Army. When was the last time a really good technical question came up! Abbey and the traction control ECU I think! Instead of which we get ones like, Is there a special way to park? Or the classic one. How do I drive my car in winter? Not forgetting, My car door lock freezes up and has got worse since I started to pour water over it? Surely these are windups started by either you or the mad man from Bournmouth!
