George Dredd
Mi light just came on, I just reset the ecu but did not see the code as I was trying to read the guide at the same time, the light has now gone off. I tried to record the code a second time but it flashed 10 times fast 3 times and I think that means no fault recorded. What now? Any help appreciated
Sam Mcgoo
If it doesn't come back, don't worry. If it does come back, read the guide before you start so you remember to count the lights. You could film them and count them after. Also, if you stop the procedure when the lights start flashing they will just cycle through continuously until your ready to reset it or turn the ignition off. chippychip123
I think it will still be there if you go and get it plugged in properly? When I fitted my air filter I stupidly started the car with the MAF unplugged and it threw one up I reset it myself and then went to a mates garage where they plugged it in to the diagnostics and it was still stored . But as above if it doesnt come back I wouldn't worry
George Dredd
Thanks for the advice guys, I took my car to see Andy at cougar store this morning, he told me there will be no code stored as I would have wiped it during the ecu reset but he did put my mind at rest and the car seems perfect so I'm not going to lose sleep over it yet. I must say it is excellent having a zed specialist only 2 streets away, thank the lord for cougar store!
