AndyC
Hi all, could do with a bit of help please!! Does anyone know where the serial number is on the base unit that holds the bluetooth adaptor and, how you get to it? You may or may not know but my car has got a German unit in it, so whenever you try to use the voice commands you get a German woman speaking at you (which is fine if you understand German!). The garage I bought the car from are going to sort it out but to do it the parts dept have asked for the car to be booked in so that they can get the serial no off the unit. Don't ask me why and they can't answer it either - I think they don't quite know what they're doing or they don't believe me and think "its faulty". I've tried explaining to them I don't know how many times that the unit isn't faulty but if this is the way they want to go fair enough. My thinking is that if I can get the serial number it'll save me a day (or possibly more) in a Micra or a Note. Plus any days I can save by the car not going into the garage and having some 17year old spanner monkey driving it has got to be a good thing. Cheers in advance
