Zzzz...
From tomorrow I will be the proud owner of a Gunmetal Alezan GT Specced 350 zed... It has taken it's time but finally the bullet has been bitten... Now then ... off to find which is the best Laser/Radar/Gatso detector... because I can see the speed limits will accidentally be broken one or two (many) times...accidentally, of course, but need to try and ensure I contain myself... Incontinence is a messy business... ANYWAY... hello everyone... you'll be seeing a bit more of me in future...

mugwump
Welcome and enjoy the Zed. In my experience Laser detectors are a waste of time (and I have the points to prove it!). If the thing goes off chances are its because you have just been illuminated and its too late. Changes to the Road Traffic act going through parliament are proposing to ban all forms of radar/laser detector and jammer. After that the only legal option will be a GPS based speed camera warning device which I can recommend. Of course if you like to live dangerously you probably want a pro-park http://www.brspecialtuning.co.uk/Propark.htm
captint
A buddy of mine fitted a Jammer to a Maserati on Tuesday, although technically its a remote garage door opener, nudge nudge wink wink. Still can go wrong with a Road angel (until the Bandit Blair bans them)

monkfish
mate! Good choice of colour. Another of the Illuminati You should wear a man-size nappy for the first hundred miles or so to protect the leather. Also, don't get a laser detector. Collecting penalty points is fun!! Zzzz...
the more I drive it the more I like it... it is amazing ... still getting to grips with grip issues, and the rain is helping... but now I am getting a good feel of what it likes and it doesn't... completely different experience from my FR wheel drive days... I think I need a track day or two to have a bit of a play in a "safe" environment and get more familiar with the capabilities of the car. Do you guys organise days out like this ? If so, I would be interested in hearing about it...
